Tina Jones began work as an actor with the Brighton Combination, Albany Empire and Pip Simmons Theatre Group and has since worked in the R.S.C., repertory theatre, musicals, contemporary opera and television.

Tina is an accomplished actress with many credits. For Babel Music Theatre (www.babel.uktheatre.net), which she founded with composer Warren Wills, she has written and produced six full-length music theatre shows, fusing the skills of actors and singers, performing at The Bush, BAC and the Half Moon. The Royal College of Music post-graduate Music Theatre Course has used Babel material for an end of term showcase. Her work as book writer/librettist includes: Timepiece (composer Roxanna Panufnik) and a large-scale community opera Heroes Don't Dance (composer Julian Grant), commissioned by the Royal Opera House and Playform 10 for Tete a Tete. Recently, her short opera Odd Numbers was produced by ENO/Tete a Tete, in London and UK tour.

She directed her adaptation of Verdi's Carmen at Bow Boys School and Babel Theatre's Mary and The Shaman, at BAC and was associate director of the Time Out Critics Choice production of The Card Index by Brit-Pol Theatre (www.britpol.uktheatre.net)
